A definite possibility, especially since Wall's location is probably the most valuable land in New Jersey. The rumors are that one of the 3 owners have taken control of the track by buying out the other investing partners, and wants immediate return on his money. He stated the track is in the same condition as it was left at the end of the 2007. A mention that demolition had already begun was disputed when someone drove to the track to see for himself if this was true. The feeling and atmosphere there is bleak at best. I then went to the SJDR message board to see what was going on there. Neither is no news or press release updates since the track closed in 2007. Any hint of a 2008 racing schedule is missing from the site. posted not long after the season came to a close. The most recent update was a congratulatory statement from the staff acknowledging the 2007 season division champions. From there, I went to the Wall Stadium website. I was browsing Race NY's message board and saw a thread where someone asked if the rumor of Wall closing it's doors was true.
